Join me in my childhood hometown of Cary, NC this summer for one of the nation’s top-rated art festival, the Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival. This late August festival will host nearly 300 artists from all over the country, so come out and enjoy the fine art, beer garden, art activities, art demonstrations, and more.
“For nearly half a century, the Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival has welcomed guests from all over to the heart of downtown Cary, NC for two days filled with art, entertainment, food, and making memories. Dating back to the event’s conception in 1977, this juried craft show celebrates the “Lazy Daze” of summer, taking place the last weekend of August, and bringing together nearly 300 artists from 16 states across the U.S. Featuring a beer garden, numerous interactive art activities, a kid’s world area, and demonstrations from professional craftsmen, Lazy Daze remains a top-rated contemporary crafts festival among the nation.
The Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival aims to enrich the community, enhance Cary’s identity, and foster community pride by celebrating the excellence in the visual and performing arts. Proceeds are used to produce the annual arts festival and are distributed back to local non-profit arts organizations as part of the Lazy Daze Grant Program. This Festival is the single largest event in Cary and is offered free of charge to all who attend.”
