Art in Situ - Part VII

As we welcome the Spring season, I've been captivated by visions of where my art might find its perfect setting. This reflection has deepened my gratitude for the beautiful spaces my work already graces. Here, I've gathered a selection of my favorite in situ photographs showcasing my art in its dreamlike homes since the last addition of “Art in Situ.”

I find immense joy in observing how each piece effortlessly integrates into its surroundings, enhancing the ambiance of your interior design. Your generosity in sharing these in situ images grants me a delightful glimpse into your meticulously curated environments. It's not only a pleasure but also a privilege to witness my paintings discovering their forever homes in such stunning settings.

These Charlotte collectors loved the style of my Blue Ridge-inspired works from this year’s Festival in the Park, but wanted an especially unique size for their home. They needed a 24” x 60” for their space, but since that’s not a standard canvas size, I stretched the canvas myself. So from the canvas to the painting to the white floater frame, everything is 100% custom created. I’m thrilled to see how this minimalist mountain “window” suits their sleek modern home.

This Bethesda collector first saw and purchased one of my mixed media “Mountain Gold Vein” works at the Bethesda Row Arts Festival this Fall. Then they had the inspired idea to commission a second piece to hang alongside it with the same colors, tone, shape, and size, but an entirely different composition and golden element. I love seeing these two pieces in conversation with each other in this collector’s clean, bright home. The works seem to complement each other while each contributing something different to the space, like the artistic equivalent of a slant rhyme.

This Bethesda collector was disappointed to miss out on the original “Magnolia Halo Triptych,” which sold at this Fall’s Bethesda Row Arts Festival…so much so that they commissioned these custom prints of the triptych to better accommodate their space. Between their interior design’s light leather accents and sage green walls, this home seems destined for these works.

If you’re interested in high quality prints of a piece not currently available as a print, reach out and start your own custom print order, and I’ll be happy to match the right size print for your space.

This Virginia Beach collector fell in love with the piece “Into the Mystic” at this Fall’s Neptune Festival Art Show. She decided to sleep on it, and when she came back the next day to see the painting still waiting for her, she knew it was meant to be. Seeing how the colors and minimalism of this work suit her home, I can see why.

I painted this piece live in front of visitors during my Artist Residency last summer at the Edgewood Cottage in Blowing Rock, NC. It was such a unique experience, and so much fun to see people’s live reactions to my painting process. Shortly after that, thanks to the Lazy Daze Arts Festival, this piece found its dream home in Cary, NC in these sweet collector’s living room.

These local Winston Salem collectors first discovered my work at my Camino Bakery Brookstown solo exhibition, where they purchased this piece “Hanging Rock.” Since then, I’ve been thrilled to connect them with several other works perfectly suited for their historic Ardmore home, including the recent “Rhododendron Halo Diptych.”

A local Winston Salem collector picked up this sweet little piece at the Ardmore Art Walk last year. This pint-sized painting adorns the champagne bottles of Asheville-based company Shanti Elixirs’ “Cranberry Sumac” Fine Dining bottles, making this work even more special.

I love seeing my limited edition prints take center stage. This collector upped the sense of power and drama of this “Almost Heaven - Print” with a double matte and sleek black frame to beautifully harmonize with their sleek black and white fireplace.

For this couple living on the Carolina coast, a canvas reproduction of “Moonlit Waves” was the finishing touch for their beach house. Find all of my Canvas Reproductions available in the Shop now.

This New Jersey collector was careful selecting the perfect frame and matte for her “Sunrise Under Auburn Skies - Print,” but seeing how stunning this work looks in its golden frame, it was clearly worth the careful deliberation.

These local Winston Salem collectors picked up a “Stone Mountain Fall - Print” at the Ardmore Art Walk to complete their Ardmore home’s bathroom.

This pint-sized print of “Forest Falls” makes for a beautiful little window in their bathroom. matching the greenery out the window of their mountain home.
