Taubman Museum of Art's "Curated Cribs Featuring Veronica Vale"

Cheers! Before the presentation, I gave a demonstration on how to create my signature cocktail for the event, the Gold Rush, a drink inspired by my collaboration with Maker’s Mark’s “Art and Soul Campaign” last year.

This weekend, I’m preparing to exhibit my work at the 66th annual Sidewalk Art Show in Roanoke, VA for the third time. This art fair is always one of my favorite events of the year.

It was made especially endearing to me when I was awarded the Paul Ostaseski Memorial Award my first year exhibiting, an award given in honor of Paul Ostaseski’s sculptural artwork and impact on the community. As the recipient of this meaningful award, I was asked to create a presentation for the Taubman Museum of Art’s “Curated Cribs” series, a series dedicated to showcasing the lives and studios of working artists.

In September of that year, I had the honor of virtually presenting my work, process, inspiration, and studio to the Taubman Museum of Art, facilitated by their Executive Director Cindy Petersen. You can now watch this presentation along with the Q&A from the Taubman Museum’s board and patrons below.
