Art in the Park June 2024 | Blowing Rock, NC

It’s always a privilege to get to show my work in beautiful Blowing Rock, NC. This time, it was an especial honor thanks to an award from Blowing Rock’s Art in the Park. Winning this award was the cherry on top of a gorgeous day: from beautiful, sunny weather, bustling streets, and high end fine art.

After my summer in Blowing Rock last year (three Art in the Parks plus an Artist Residency at the Edgewood Cottage), I was looking forward to more summer art fairs in the mountains. At this June’s Art in the Park, two of my mountain-inspired works found their apt homes here in the mountains, along with dozens of fine art prints.

The weather down the mountain was so hot this weekend that it was a treat to escape to the mountains for the day and bask in the mountain breeze and sunny skies. It made me all the more excited for next month’s Art in the Park in Blowing Rock, NC. I hope to see you then on Saturday, July 13th from 10 am-5 pm. I’ll be in the same booth spot (Booth 52) with original art and fine art prints.

In the meantime, thank you again to everyone who came out this Saturday to enjoy a beautiful, art-filled day in the mountains, and thank you to the Art in the Park organizers for this truly flattering award.
